The most loved of the Fuji lakes and the easiest to reach. A full day of around ten hours round trip: the still water that mirrors the mountain on a calm morning, the northern shore with Oishi Park and the lakeside promenades, and the classic views of Fuji across the water. A full day built around Japan's most photographed Fuji view: the five-story pagoda of Arakura Sengen framing the mountain from the hillside, paired with the Kawaguchiko lakeside nearby.
