Option 1 · Lake Kawaguchiko, a full day
The most loved of the Fuji lakes and the easiest to reach. A full day of around ten hours round trip: the still water that mirrors the mountain on a calm morning, the northern shore with Oishi Park and the lakeside promenades, and the classic views of Fuji across the water. A gentle, family-friendly way to spend the day.
Option 2 · The Chureito Pagoda, a full day
A full day built around Japan's most photographed Fuji view: the five-story pagoda of Arakura Sengen framing the mountain from the hillside, paired with the Kawaguchiko lakeside nearby. A climb of steps rewards you with the postcard shot, and your driver times it for the clearest light and the smallest crowd. Around ten hours round trip.
Option 3 · Oshino Hakkai, a full day
A full day around Oshino Hakkai, the village of eight spring-fed ponds at the foot of Fuji, with crystal water, thatched roofs and mountain views, paired with the Kawaguchiko lakeside. An easy, beautiful day and a favourite for photos and quiet moments. Around ten hours round trip.
Option 4 · The Fuji Fifth Station, a full day
When the Subaru Line is open, a full day up the mountain itself to the Fifth Station, above the tree line for close views and cooler air, with a lakeside stop on the way. Access is seasonal and weather-dependent, so we confirm on the day. Around ten hours round trip.
Option 5 · Mt Fuji and Hakone, a full day
A full day pairing the mountain with Hakone: Fuji views, then Lake Ashi with its torii gate and the onsen valley. A rich day of around ten hours round trip, linked door to door by private car at your own pace. Confirmed in writing before you go.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a private Mt Fuji tour from Tokyo?
From ¥150,000 for the Standard class for the full day (approx. 10 hours), door to door from your Tokyo hotel, confirmed in writing before you book. Larger vehicles apply a simple multiplier.
How long is the Fuji day trip from Tokyo?
About 10 hours door to door, roughly two hours of driving each way, with the rest of the day spent at the lakes and viewpoints at your pace.
Will my driver speak English (or my language)?
Yes. Your chauffeur's language, Italian, French, Spanish, English or Japanese, is confirmed at booking and stated in writing, and they guide you through the day.
Which of the five options should we choose?
It depends on what you love: Kawaguchiko for the classic lake and reflections, the Chureito Pagoda for the iconic photo, Oshino Hakkai for the spring-water village, the Fifth Station to go up the mountain (seasonal), or Fuji with Hakone to add onsen and Lake Ashi. Each is a full day of around ten hours; tell us and we suggest the best fit for the season.
What if the weather is bad or Fuji is hidden by cloud?
Your driver adapts the route to find the clearest views available that day. Fuji is shy, but local knowledge gives you the best chance the conditions allow.
Are the drivers licensed?
Yes, only fully licensed Tokyo operators (Class 2 licence, green plate). We never arrange unlicensed driving.
