Haneda is the airport closest to the city. Ginza, Tokyo Station and Roppongi are about thirty minutes away, Shinjuku and Shibuya thirty five to forty five. Narita lies further out in Chiba, and the drive to central Tokyo takes sixty to ninety minutes depending on the hour and the district.
The price does not follow the clock. A transfer from Haneda to any address in the 23 wards is ¥29,500 in the Toyota Alphard, from Narita ¥45,500, with expressway tolls, airport parking and fuel included. The figure is confirmed in writing before you travel and nothing is collected in the car. There is no night supplement on an airport transfer, which matters for the many long haul flights that land after ten in the evening.
Meeting your chauffeur, and what happens if your flight is late
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall, after customs, with a board carrying your name. Before you land we send the chauffeur's name and a WhatsApp contact, so you can write the moment you switch your phone on. The chauffeur takes your luggage to the car.
We follow your flight from departure, so an early or a late landing simply moves the pickup. One hundred minutes of waiting from the actual landing are included, enough for immigration and baggage on a normal day. Beyond that the waiting is charged at the hourly rate of the vehicle, in thirty minute blocks, and the chauffeur stays until you come out. A delayed flight is never treated as a cancellation.
Beyond the 23 wards: Yokohama, Disney, Kamakura and further
The fixed fares cover the 23 wards of Tokyo. Past them the car returns empty, and the supplement pays for that return: Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba and Saitama add ¥14,000; Kamakura and Enoshima add ¥21,000; Hakone, Mount Fuji, Nikko and Ibaraki add ¥28,000; Karuizawa and Izu add ¥35,000. You choose the area when you book and the price is shown before you confirm.

Children, luggage and choosing the car
Child seats are included at no extra cost and fitted before the car reaches the airport: tell us the age of each child when you book. The Toyota Alphard takes up to four guests with four cases. For five to nine guests, or a family with a stroller and several cases, the Toyota GranAce or Hiace, from ¥31,500 at Haneda, takes everything. The Mercedes Benz S 500, from ¥48,500 at Haneda, is for two guests with two large and two small cases.
Every chauffeur is licensed and every car runs on green plates, the licence for paid passenger transport in Japan. Your chauffeur speaks your language, English, Italian, Spanish, French or Japanese, at the same price in every language, and on board you will find water, soft drinks, chocolates and refreshing towels.
Airport transfer questions
Which airport is closer to central Tokyo, Haneda or Narita?
Haneda is about 30 to 45 minutes from central Tokyo by car, Narita about 60 to 90 minutes. The transfer price is fixed either way: from ¥29,500 for Haneda and ¥45,500 for Narita, tolls included.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight and move the pickup. One hundred minutes of waiting after landing are included; beyond that, waiting time is charged at the hourly rate, as set out in our terms.
Where do I meet my chauffeur at the airport?
In the arrivals hall, after customs, with a name board. Before you land we send you the chauffeur's details and a WhatsApp contact.
Can you provide a child seat?
Yes. Child seats are arranged in advance at no extra cost. Tell us the child's age when you book.
Is a private transfer better than a taxi from the airport?
A taxi is metered, so the final price depends on traffic and route, and the driver rarely speaks your language. A private transfer has a fixed price confirmed in writing, a chauffeur who speaks your language, flight tracking and one hundred minutes of waiting included.
